Specifications: Underwater Temperature Loggers: - Must have a temperature accuracy of at least ±0.025°C; - Must be able to be deployed in at least 200m of water; - Must have a minimum temperature range of 0°C to 35°C; - Minimum of a 5-year battery life when continuously logging in 1-hour intervals; - Must have a replaceable battery; - Must be able to log temperature measurements at least every hour; - Can store at least one measurement per hour for 5 years (>40,000 measurements); - Configuration of the logger and data downloads from the logger must be done through USB communications; - The logger housing must have holes to allow for easy mounting on subsurface moorings; - 4 x Download cables to interface with PC (preferably through USB); - 30 x underwater temperature loggers in 2024/2025 and 30x additional underwater temperature loggers for further downstream purchases if funding allows. Underwater Conductivity/Temperature Loggers: - Standalone data logger; - Recorded data is stored in the logger’s internal memory with a real-time reference for each measurement; - User-defined start time, start date, and sampling interval; - Measures and records conductivity and temperature; - Size: less than 60 mm length and diameter smaller than 20 mm (to fit into existing moorings); - Weight in water must be no more than 20g; - Conductivity range 0-60 mS/cm; - Conductivity accuracy equal or less than +/-2 mS/cm; - Temperature range -1°C to +40°C; - Temperature accuracy equal or less than +/-0.1°C; - Memory capacity at least 100,000 measurements per sensor; - Minimum of a 4-year battery life on continuous hourly recordings; - Minimum of 12 months warranty; - 2 x Download cables to interface with PC (preferably through USB); - 30 CT loggers in 2024/25; 30 CT loggers in 2025/26; and downstream procurement of a further 50 if funding allows. Underwater Temperature/Depth Loggers: - Standalone data logger; - Recorded data is stored in the logger’s internal memory with a real-time reference for each measurement; - User-defined start time, start date, and sampling interval; - Measures and records depth/pressure and temperature; - Size: less than 60 mm length and diameter smaller than 20 mm (to fit into existing moorings); - Weight in water must be no more than 20g; - Temperature range -1°C to +40°C; - Temperature accuracy equal or less than +/-0.1°C; - Depth calibration range up to 50m; - Depth resolution of +/- 0.05%; - Depth accuracy of +/- 0.8%; - Memory capacity at least 100,000 measurements per sensor; - Minimum of a 4-year battery life on continuous 5-minute sampling recording intervals; - Minimum of 12 months warranty; - 4 x Download cables to interface with PC (preferably through USB); - 24 TD loggers in 2024/2025 and 6 x year on year until the end of the contract, provision for the downstream procurement of a further 40 if funding allows. Software: - The software provided must be compatible with all three instrument types listed above (i.e. Underwater temperature logger, Underwater Conductivity/Temperature logger, and - Underwater Temperature/Depth logger); - Software capable of displaying results both in graphic and tabular form and ability to export data to other programs; - The time series data must display each measurement with its own time stamp; - Software to calculate and display the salinity values from the conductivity and temperature loggers; - The software must have the option to export the data to a human-readable format (i.e. text, excel, csv). Compatibility: - The units and software to be provided shall be compatible with the existing infrastructure operated; - The current logger infrastructure that is operated by the client is provided by Star-ODDI.
