Re-advertisement of contract number 2023/17: Bids are hereby invited for the following: Manufacturing and delivery of a retort for batch sterilization - George. Scope: A high temperature retort/sterilizer to process tea is required: - A one basket vertical retort is required. Mechanical specification: • 1 basket static vertical retort manufactured from grade 304L stainless steel; • Retort mounted on a common stainless-steel frame; • Internal diameter 750mm; • Maximum design pressure for maximum temperature of 130 degrees C; • Bayonette type locking lid. • 3 Lid safety mechanisms: Locking mechanism connected to a manual vent valve and an electrical solenoid valve with rod and proximity sensor registering locking mechanism in place before retort can be started; • Instrument fittings into pressure vessel shell; • Electrical element/s for heating; • Perforated cover for heating element/s to spread steam; • Minimum water level sensor; • Maximum water level sensor in case of cooling setting; • Fast acting angle seat vent, water inlets and drain valves; • Thermostatic air vent; • Safety pressure release valve; • Vacuum breaker; • PT100 thermometer; • Large dial Pressure gauge 0 - 4 bar; • Large dial Temperature gauge; • All measuring instruments to have calibration certificates; • Pressure certification to be done by a local approved inspection authority; • Stainless steel retort tubes; • The Retort should be as close as possible to the ground to enable the hoist to load the basket frame into the retort; • A port to be provided towards the top end of the retort, to allow 8 of thermocouple wires to pass through. Sufficient sealing to be provided without steam leaking. Electrical specification: • Control Panel MCC in Epoxy coated Stainless steel; • Electrical panel to be mounted next to retort connected to the common retort support frame; • PLC Controller Hardware and components (Specify what type of PLC offered); • HMI Hardware: Colour touchscreen; • E-Stop; • Solid state relay to switch electrical element/s; • Supplier to specify the switchgear preferred to be installed; • Stainless steel wire mesh cable trays; • E-Plan Documentation; • Logging hardware to log all sensors and transmitters data. Remote LAN and mobile sim connection capability with internet monitoring of graphed data; • Factory Acceptance Testing in house. Control/Software specification: 1. The control system will automatically control temperature by maintaining the safety parameters; 2. The basic process: Load Product and close and lock lid; 3. The process time and temperatures will be entered into the PLC program via a colour touch screen. Heating and Cooling times to be entered; 4. Start process; 5. In case of safety sensor not activated, the process will not start and alarm message displayed; 6. The electrical element is controlled via the solid-state relay/s via PID loop; 7. A vent valve will remain open at the start of the process, to vent air out of the retort. When a temperature close to 100 degree C is reached, the vent valve will close and the temperature rise above 100 degree C and the electrical element will PID loop control the temperature around the setpoint plus or minus 1.5-degree C; 8. All relevant information is to be displayed on screen, such as a timer to indicate the process time left, setpoint and feedback temperature and any alarms; 9. Should only a heating time be entered then at the end of the heating process, the electrical element is switched off and the vent valve will gradually release pressure until it will be safe to open the retort door and remove product. When the temperature has dropped to below 80 degrees C and the pressure to 0 Bar gauge, a message must be displayed that the heating process is finished; 10. Should a heating and cooling time be entered, then after the heating process has completed, water must be introduced until the level reaches the high-level sensor. The high-level sensor should be 50mm below the brim of the tubes. The high-level water must be maintained for the cooling time entered upfront. Once the cooling time has lapsed, then the drain valve will open to discharge the water; 11. The user should be able to enter the number of cooling cycles to be run, upfront. When 2 cooling cycles are selected for example, then the retort will be filled to the high-level sensor for a second time with cooling water before draining; 12. Once the cycle is complete and 0-gauge pressure registered, then the electrical solenoid will retract, process complete displayed on screen and lid can be opened by unlocking it first. The completion period of this service is (Four) 4 calendar months starting from the day of appointment. (EN) Ajouter aux favoris

Addendum: Extension of Closing Date: Eskom Holdings SOC Ltd (hereinafter “Eskom”) invites you to submit a tender for the following: Maintenance of gas monitoring system servicing the oil, coal, water and microbiology laboratories in Research, Testing & Development for a period of five (5) years. Scope of work: Maintenance of the currently installed gas monitoring system in the Oil, Coal, Water and Microbiology Laboratories is required for a period of five years. The gas monitoring system includes the following hardware components: • 2 x 3G Smartoo V4 GSM Modems; • 4 x 4 Smartoo expansions units; • Control panel with alarms; • Electrical enclosure; • 24V DC power supply and battery pack; • Oxygen gas detectors; • Pressure sensors (0-250 bar). The software used is the custom scripted Tru Talk V5 04 and the system can be monitored remotely via the Kronos Monitoring. The maintenance of the gas monitoring system must include: • Inspections/checks as and when required; • Calibration as and when required; • Replacement as and when required. The currently installed gas monitoring system measures and monitors the oxygen levels in the laboratories and the pressure of multiple gases required to operate laboratory instruments. The oxygen levels are monitored by measuring the active signal (4-20 mA) from the oxygen gas detector. In the case of oxygen depletion, the control panel then raises an alarm; as well as an indicator light on the control panel as a warning. (EN) Ajouter aux favoris
