The Mining Qualifications Authority (MQA) in South Africa plays a vital role in facilitating and promoting skills development through a plethora of skills development interventions within the mining and mineral sector. By collecting, consolidating, analyzing, and assessing relevant data, this study aims to provide insights into the authority’s performance, identify comprehensive data on the MQA"s activities, initiatives, and outcomes from 2018 to 2022. This may include strategic plans, annual performance plans, annual performance, quarterly, monthly reports, audit findings, and stakeholder feedback, strengths and weaknesses and propose recommendations for improvement going forward.
