The system consists of a steel pile cap of thickness ranging from 4mm to 10mm and steel piles (circular hollow sections) of overall diameter of 42.4mm, and thickness ranging from 2.5mm to 4.0mm. The base plates are drop forged and hot dip galvanized in accordance with SANS 121/ISO 1461. The pile foundation system can be applied to the following occupancy classes A1, A2, A3, A4, A5, B1, B2, B3, C1, C2, D1, D2, D3, D4, E1, E2, E3, E4, F1, F2, F3, G1, H1, H2, H3, H4, H5, J1, J2, J3 as stated in SANS 10400-A. Specifications: Superstructures comprise two types of insulated wall panels depending on the application. Wall Type 1 can be used externally and internally. Wall Type 2 is used as an infill panel and comprises two skins of chromadek sheeting encapsulating an Expanded polystyrene core (EPS).
