Quotations are hereby invited for the following: Electrical service provider for the supply, delivery, installation and commissioning of a standby solar system for the National Lotteries Commission, Free State Office in Welkom. Scope of Work: The following are the activities required for the service provider: - To Supply, deliver, rigging, installation, testing, commissioning. This will include for construction stand, openings, rebates., required by the bidder for the installation of the equipment; - The supply, delivery, installation, and commissioning of 27kVA Solar system; - The Solar system must connect to the main Distribution Board to kick-in immediately when the power is off to avoid any interruptions; - The cabling and connection to the Distribution Board supplying 400 square meters of building space; - The testing of the Solar system upon completion of the installation; - The bidder to issue CoC certificate upon completion; - Supply battery backup for 6 hours; - Online monitoring system with reports capabilities i.e. live solar power generation, storage capacity, daily consumption. The following tests are to be carried out: - After completion of the work, and before signing off the job card by NLC full test will be carried out on the installation to determine the satisfactory working thereof. During this period the installation will be inspected, and the bidder shall make good to the satisfaction of the NLC any defects which may arise. - The bidder shall provide all instruments and equipment required for testing and, power required for the commissioning and testing of the installation upon completion. - Test reports to be submitted to NLC. Only registered and NRS097 approved inverters must be used in all installation. An electrical engineer designed and signed off drawings must be made available to the NLC upon completion of the works inclusive of the following: - Invertor NRS097 certificate of approval; - Invertor/Battery manufacture approved compatibility document; - Solar Panels mounting rails compliance certificates; - Solar panels, invertor, and battery warranty documents.
