Addendum: Amendment to tender documents: Tenders are hereby invited for the following: Provision of Pickwick transitional housing - Facilities and occupant management. Scope: The City requires a service provider (preferably a private non-profit agency) for the management of the Pickwick Transitional Housing Facility. Transitional Housing is defined as housing for individuals and households that is temporary but which helps them to prepare their life circumstances to move to more permanent housing solutions. In this instance it is envisaged that for some residents it will provide temporary housing as they transition to more permanent options, although it is recognized that because of the shortage of alternatives for low income households, some households are likely to remain on a semi-permanent basis. The facility was created for the relocation of households living in temporary informal accommodation in Pine Road. It provides well-constructed rooms with internal communal ablution and cooking facilities on land owned by the City. Residents have entered into individual lease agreements with the City and make monthly payments as per agreed rental amounts. The City has an existing agreement with a Management Agent which shall terminate on 30 June 2023 upon appointment of a new Management Agent under this tender.
