The United Nations (UN) has a requirement to establish a Global System Contract for the following: a. Supply and Delivery of Portable Drum Incinerators and original equipment manufacturer "OEM Spare Parts", to safely handle and treat waste, in accordance with industry best practices to any UN field Mission/Entity. b. Provision of Professional Services, which are related to: Training, and Technical Assistance when required by the UN. The proposed contract will be for an initial period of three (3) years with an option to extend for two additional one-year periods (3+1+1) at the sole discretion of the UN and upon satisfactory performance of the Contractor. In addition, extend the contract for further five (5) years only for the supply and delivery of spare parts and consumables after the end of the initial contract term. The portable drum incinerators shall be easy to assemble, commission for start-up purposes, and easily maintainable for operation and maintenance purposes. The equipment should be designed to effectively incinerate the following types of wastes, as a minimum: • Non-hazardous organic wastes, • General household/office wastes, • Paper/cellulose products, • Wood, saw dust, pallets, and similar wastes, • Garden waste. The United Nations (UN) through this Request for Expression of Interest (REOI) is inviting potential vendors to express their interest for the following requirements to procure: a) Diesel generators and related materials and services, for the provision of reliable power supply to various UN Field Missions, UN Offices away from Headquarters, and UN entities located around the world. The Prime Power rated generator sizes are described in the following two (2) Lots: 1) Lot 1: Three phase and single phase gensets of 10kVA, 15kVA, 20kVA, 25kVA, 36kVA, 50kVA, and 75 kVA, in both 50 and 60 Hz configurations are required. 2) Lot 2: Three phase gensets of 125 kVA, 160 kVA, 250 kVA, 500 kVA, and 750 kVA in both 50 and 60 Hz configurations are required. b) Diesel Generators with Combined Heat and Power (CHP) system: The CHP system shall be a turnkey system, designed, and supplied as a complete unit, factory assembled and ready for installation and connectivity. The packaged CHP system should be manufactured and assembled at the vendor or its manufacturer’s premises and then delivered to site ready for installation and commissioning as a complete unit. This turnkey solution may be required on a global scale, with priority to Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of Congo, Lebanon, Mali, Somalia and South Sudan 1) Lot 3: The prime mover diesel generators with CHP system (250kVA, 500kVA, 750kVA, 1000 kVA, and 1250 kVA) based on the vendor design and load requirement to comply with 50Hz Configuration. c) The vendors who submit their response to this REOI will be invited to participate in the resulting solicitation and have the option to bid for any of the three (3) Lots.
