Capable and competent Water Quality Specialists are hereby invited to submit proposals for the provision of services for water quality monitoring, including stormwater for the Special Economic Zone (SEZ). The project scope of work intends to address/evaluate quality of surface water, groundwater, stormwater, and sediment quality. The work will cover existing monitoring of flow rates and water levels at a total of 35 sites which comprises of: eight (8) sites along the Coega River, ten (10) investor sites and six (6) borehole stations and additional sediment analysis at eleven (11) points. Sampling and analysis of salts, metals, organics, and bacteria concentrations at these monitoring sites to determine the water quality will be conducted at least four (4) times annually for thirty-six (36) months. Through monitoring, pollution (if any) will be identified proactively, and control measures will be implemented to prevent further pollution of the surface water.
