Scope of Work: Maintenance of conveyor splicing works includes but not limited inspection, removal, and repairs, and housekeeping on the following equipment"s: Maintenance of conveyor splicing at all Ash, coal and dust Plant conveyor system. On conveyor belts: WC11/21, WC12/22, WC13/23, WC14/24, WA25/15, WA26/16, WC18/28, WC19/29, WZ11/21, WC36, WC41, WC16, WF31, WF41, WF51, WF61, WF81and WF71, JPCA and B from Unit 1 to Unit 6 (Japanese conveyor) and coal plant conveyor T8A to T8F, T1A and T1B, Unit 1 to Unit 6 Shuttle and T7A to T7F. Splicing to be done according to the following Standards: • Conveyor belting — Splicing of steel cord reinforced conveyor belting SANS 485:2009. • Conveyor belting — Step splicing for multi-ply textile-reinforced rubber covered conveyor belting Part 1: Hot-splicing method SANS 484-1:2009. • Conveyor belting — Step splicing for multi-ply textile-reinforced rubber covered conveyor belting Part 2: Cold-splicing method SANS 484-2:2009.
