Open tender contest for the procurement and delivery of furniture for Trondheim municipality
Trondheim municipality invites tenderers to an open tender contest for framework agreements for the procurement and delivery of furniture for the municipality"s units.
The framework agreements will, as a rule, be used for procurements of less than 500 000 NOK, excluding VAT. Separate competitions will be held for procurements over 500 000 NOK, excluding VAT, either via a dynamic procurement system or as separate tender contests.
The framework agreement can, however, be used for procurements over 500 000 NOK if there is not time to hold a separate competition due to a political decision or budgetary decisions, where there is a particularly great need for user adaptations and user choices, or for areas with experimental furnishings/product development.
The framework agreement includes the furniture for public use. E.g. meeting room furniture approved by Møbelfakta. In some cases, for example, in municipal flats or residential and activity offers, the Contracting Authority can require furniture for private use/household use. The Contracting Authority is not obliged to use the framework agreement in such cases.
Sub-tender 1 — Institution furniture
The framework agreement is for the delivery of institution furniture and function furniture for Trondheim municipality.
This means furniture and fixtures for users of health and welfare centres health buildings and activity centres/district cafes/meeting places. A contract for office furniture will be used for furnishing offices, meeting rooms and personnel rooms for employees.
The Contracting Authority has 22 health and welfare centres and 4 health buildings that shall use the contract when they require the products included in this contract. Private units that have municipal operational support can also use this contract. There are currently 3 such health and welfare centres.
The municipality has approx. 50 shared housing consisting of houses for youths and adults with different function levels (young physically disabled persons, psychiatry and drugs and alcohol, mentally handicapped). These can, in some cases, require furniture for household use and have, therefore a right, but not an obligation, to use the contract.
Sub-tender 2 – Office furniture
The framework agreement is for the procurement and delivery of office furniture for Trondheim municipality.
Included areas are offices, meeting rooms and personnel rooms for employees. Office chairs that require a lot of user adaptations and user choice will be covered by the framework agreement for office furniture, regardless of the procurement volume.
The framework agreement includes, amongst other things, the following products:
— Office furniture,
— Meeting room furniture,
— Furniture for personnel rooms and social zones,
— Furniture for the general public"s reception areas,
— Furniture for archive/copy rooms,
— Personnel wardrobes,
— Various other furniture,
— Storage shelves.
Sub tender 3 — School furniture
The framework agreement is for the procurement and delivery of school furniture for Trondheim municipality.
Trondheim municipality currently has 53 schools and approx. 20 000 pupils.
In order to avoid disputes about where the coming contract for school furniture shall be used, the Contracting Authority has chosen to define the area of use in the following way: The contract for school furniture shall be used in pupil areas/play and communal areas (loa). I.e. areas where pupils are, including communal areas, teaching rooms, canteens, etc. The contract for office furniture will be used for furnishing offices, meeting rooms and personnel rooms for employees.
— Changing room furnishing,
— Tables,
— Chairs,
— Shelves and cupboards,
— Writing boards and information boards,
— Soft furniture,
— Various other furniture for use in schools.
Sub-tender 4 — Nursery furniture
The contract is for the procurement and delivery of furniture for nurseries in Trondheim municipality.
In order to avoid disputes about where the coming contract for nursery furniture shall be used, the Contracting Authority has chosen to define the area of use in the following way: The contract for nursery furniture shall be used in play and communal areas (loa). I.e. areas where the nursery children are, including communal areas, etc. The contract for office furniture will be used for furnishing offices, meeting rooms and personnel rooms for employees.
— Notice boards,
— Baby care room furnishing,
— Various other furniture for use in nurseries.
The following organisations have signed a procurement contract with the Contracting Authority and will use relevant contracts:
— Trondheim parkering KF,
— Stavne Arbeid og Kompetanse KF,
— Bakklandet Menighets Omsorgssenter,
— Kystad Helse og Velferdssenter,
— Trondhjems Hospital.
