Scope of work: The works to be carried out by the Contractor under this Contract comprise amongst others the following: - The replacement/refurbishment of all/various mechanical/electrical items at Odendaalsrus WWTW. - The provision of complete new mechanical items at Odendaalsrus WWTW. - The provision of a complete new medium voltage electrical network connection at Odendaalsrus WWTW. - Development and provision of a new SCADA system for Odendaalsrus WWTW. - Replacement/refurbishment/repair of various problematic internal sewer pipelines in the immediate Odendaalsrus WWTW area. - Refurbishment/upgrade of related pump stations in the catchment area. - Refurbishment of the Concrete structures of the WWTW Plant. - Concrete lining with structural changes of the existing Anaerobic tank. - Construction of a new guardhouse at the entrance to control access. - New Staff housing. - Provision of a Standby Generator for power failures to avoid overflow. - Refurbishment of office and storage facilities. - New Electricity network, MCC and PLC. - Cleaning, rehabilitation and expansion of sludge drying beds. - Erect new high security electrified fence with camera monitoring. - Camera system and control along perimeter.
